Several decades ago we moved to Suffolk with small children.
I started gardening. There were so many questions, mysteries and the lure of plants that did not always thrive. I learnt from mistakes and from practical study: Landscape Architecture at Greenwich University and horticultural subjects at both Otley and Writtle College. The first instilled an understanding of site strictures and advantages, Horticulture an in depth knowledge of plants, both of which inform my practice in all aspects of garden design, planting and maintenance.
